GB-36-01-001 · Similar lengths

Two triangles are similar. Corresponding sides have lengths 12 cm and 22 cm. A second side of the smaller triangle is 10 cm. Find the corresponding side of the larger triangle to 2 decimal places.

Similar Triangles (Scale Factor Table) Booklet p. 41
Method
1) Put corresponding measurements in an L.A.V table (or L.L for two lengths)
2) Length factor r, area factor r², volume factor r³
3) Multiply from small to large; divide in reverse
